Fortune Nwaiwu is a multi-disciplinary professional with expertise in ICT for Development (ICT4D) research, entrepreneurship and social innovations. He worked as IT Manager with the Nigeria Economic Summit Group, a research and advocacy focused non-governmental organization based in Nigeria. Fortune Nwaiwu has authored and co-authored several research papers relating to the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) for development, and on how ICT affects socio-economic development and small and medium enterprises. He holds a master’s degree in security and risk management from the University of Leicester, and Master’s in Business Administrations (MBA) Degree from Nyenrode Business University in the Netherlands.
Feyisayo Ajayi is a Senior Associate in the research department of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group where she undertakes various components of NESG’s research work to influence policy advocacy activities of the group. She is the staff anchor of the Environmental Sustainability Policy Commission of the group as well as the Technical Assistant to the Director General/Chief Executive of the group and has over eight years of experience in the non-governmental sector. In addition, she serves as the NESG contact person for the United Nations Global Compact. Feyi holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of York, United Kingdom. Other academic qualifications include masters in Environmental Management from the University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria and a Second Class Upper degree in Soil science from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile- Ife, Osun state, Nigeria. Her research experience cut across the environment, agriculture and social issues. Some of her research undertakings include: Environmental Impact Assessment of the Storage of Petroleum Products in Ibru Complex, Apapa Lagos, Assessment study on The Implementation of the Nigerian National Fertilizer Policy, Quality Assessment of Groundwater Resources and Dumpsite Leachates in Abule Egba, Lagos State and Analysis of the World Economic Forum Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) for Nigeria in 2010 and 2011, Cost of Democratic Institutions in Nigeria and Nigeria’s Legislative Scorecard. Her key interests revolve round environmental research and policy advocacy.
is an Economics Analyst with experience in Economic Policy and Research, Civil Society, International Non-Governmental Organizations, and global economic development with international financial institutions.
He was the Science and Technology Policy Commission (STPC) Anchor of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) and currently runs his company called Akanka Design. He is also enrolled at Yale University’s Masters of Arts Program in International and Development Economics.
